On September 25, 2024, the library staff of the university took part in the International Scientific and practical conference “inclusive libraries, history, prospects of achievements”, dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Shymkent city special library for blind and visually impaired citizens.
The conference was attended by the head of the Department of scientific and methodological development of the special library for blind and visually impaired citizens of St. Petersburg of the Russian Federation, Ph. D. Nazarov M. V., deputy director for library affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Avazova K. Sh., head of the Department of Art and sports literature of Almaty Darzhanova G. T., and library staff from Pavlodar, Kostanay, Ust-Kamenogorsk.
The conference discussed the role of the inclusive environment in the development of library work in creating an inclusive society today.
