Kenen Azirbayev was born in 1884. Place of birth Almaty region. The village of Metinbulak is located in Zhambyl district. At the age of 10, he took the dombra and sang. At the age of 11, he releases the song” Koksholak”. At the age of only 13, he became famous for his songs “Boztorgay”. Soon the young boy’s speckle reaches the brothers of the massacre on the other side of Alatau and becomes known as “bozdala’s boztorg”. About 200 songs and reflections remained behind Kenen Azirbayev. In particular, more than 150 songs were recorded from Kenen’s own lips. The people’s poet, famous composer, famous singer, son of Sal-Seri Kenen Azirbayev is considered a talent that left a very rich legacy. His aitys, songs, sagas, legends are a hill in themselves, and his songs and poems are a rich world in themselves.From the end of the last century until the 70s of our time, Kenen Azerbayev created many works, combining his compositional, poetic talent, excellent singing, skillful dombra and inspirational improvisation with each other.
